This is a quick, healthy and easy recipe for all the family to enjoy.
What you will need for this recipe:
-Half an onion
-1 Big Potatoe
1)In a Saucepan, sauté the onions. When a little bit brown and caramelized add the chopped carrots and potatoes.
2)Once veggies are cooked, remove from saucepan. Add a bit more olive oil to the saucepan. Wait until it is warm again and add the chicken drumsticks. You want the oil to be hot to make the outside of the chicken brown and crispy.
3)Once the chicken has achieved the desired crispiness, lower the heat and add the vegetables. Add a sprinkle of white wine, salt, pepper, and turmeric. Cover and simmer. Cook for about 30 min. NOTE: Do not let the chicken and veggies stick to the saucepan.
(As an additional side note: You may do last step in the oven. Once chicken looks brown, place all on a baking dish with the veggies and bake in the oven at 350F for a while, until chicken is done. Approximately 40 min).
